Matshita dvd ram uj 8505 ata device disapear from my computer and sometime it reapear now it disapear again ?? thank for help

    Mine has done the same....disappeared completely It is connected to a Vista

    I have an acer aspire 3100 and most every time software is loaded after reboot the cd/dvd drive is gone. It is matshta-dvd-ram uj-8505. I'm at my wits end with this issue. Can anyone help.

My matshita dvd-ram uj-8505 ata device isnt workingit says ''Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)'' what do i do?


After i try to find the registry (which is not available)<br />Why not give this a try:<br />1) Start your computer after SHUTDOWN<br />2) After your DESKTOP appear on the screen for about 10 <br /> second, QUICKLY INSERT ANY CD/DVD (in my case I <br /> insert Glee)<br />3) Let the computer run for a while, don't do anything until it <br /> settle down<br />4) Check at MY COMPUTER whether your cd is detected<br /><br />I got mine work this way!<br />Good Luck my friends!<br />

Uninstalled matshita dvd-ram uj-8505 ata device


Go to Control Panel, Add Hardware and Windows should do it for you.

If you are PC literate go to Start click on it go to My Computer nad right click on ot go to Hardware and click on it go to Device Manager and click on that scroll down to CD/DVD and click on that select the DVD unit and select update driver

Try a Google search for the driver. I got my printer driver that way. Prints just fine.
