Hi Bill, I also have a Delonghi portable air-con, so I hope I can help. Is the machine working ok apart from the leak? Does it have a built in waste water tank as does mine? If so, take a look at where the tank is placed to empty the machine, it is possible that the pipe leading to it from the machine is out of position and instead of filling the tank with water, it is dripping on the floor instead. If you remove the water tank, the machine will not run on air-con, but if you have a look at where the tank fits in (you will need a torch) you should be able to see where the water is coming from.
These machines do create a lot of waste water, that is normal, but it should end up in the water tank, not on the floor, so you need to find out why it is not reaching the tank.
As to your problem with the manual, I have found these links for, Delonghi so that you can contact them directly and explain that you need a replacement. As I don't know what country you are in, I have put a few for you to try, they should forward the query, or refer you on.Hopefully, they will either email you with a copy, or they might post a replacement.
