Question about MP3 & Digital Media Players
Uninstall what you've installed from the software. It says right in the System Requirements Windows 2000 and XP. Fisher-Price has a Vista version that they can e-mail to you that'll work.

The solution for VISTA is easy.
Install the FP3 software and use it to convert your songs into .fp3 format.
Open EXPLORER, plug in the player and COPY the song from your hard disk onto the player.
You need to edit the PLAYLIST on the player (SNG or songs) and add a line refering to the song you just copied e.g. A:\TRACK0011.fp3 BUT ALSO change the number at the top of the file by the number of tracks you've copied on.
Save the PLAYLIST and SAFELY REMOVE the hardware.
Your songs will be available on the Player. If it doesnt work, check the ATTRIBUTES on the PLAYLIST are not set to READ_ONLY.
