Question about Canon i-SENSYS MF4140 All-In-One Laser Printer
My LBP-5000 printer shows an error message advising "Out-of-Register Colors Correction has not been performed. Perform calibration again." no matter how many times i run calibration it wont fix it
I solved this problem.
You need to bring your printer to some service, and perform cleanig of the printer's optic instruments, which are most probably coverd with dirt, and printer just can't recognize catridges, and can't give you the best print quality.
Just take it to the people who refill toners, or to some official service, they'll know what to do. I had the same problem as you, and today I can't recognize how better print quality is, and more importan, printer is not asking calibration any more.

I tore my hair out trying to find what was causing this problem. I solved it eventually !!! I noticed that some toner residue was on the electrical contact point on the right hand side of the cartridge (you will see a copper contact point just inside where the drum makes contact with the right hand side panel inside the printer). I took an old toothbrush and brushed out the toner from that small hole on the side of the cartridge and also brushed the point of contact (inside right hand side of printer) that butts up into the cartridge and turns the drum.ie the copper contact sits just inside the drum. VOILA!!! No more errors and the printer kicked into motion - did the calibration and is now working perfectly again. Dave at inkWise!

I had same problem but solved it as follows.
I repeated calibration following the instruction on the error message but it did not work at all.
Instead, I looked at the toner cartridges carefully and found the leakage of toner at the magenta cartridge. I guessed that there was some problems with the magenta cartridge and replaced it with new one.
As a result, it worked very well and I am using the printer until now.

Just bought One of these and have gone through the installation. But have the error message

No mention in the manual about what to do.
