Question about Televison & Video
I have been given a rear projection tv (model below), as the previous owner updated to a plasma. when the unit is switched from 'standby' to 'on' the orange light flashes a number of times then returns to standby. Initially I thought it required a new lamp, which I replaced. Now, upon looking in the back of the unit I have found a 9 wire connector which is connected to the printed circuit board ' driver' at 'P1101' . The wire is not connected at the other end and I can not find an empty slot to connect to. The wire is only approx 100mm long so the connector cannot be too far away?
Any pointers greatly appreciated,
SMPS power board has packed up. Mine did it about 2 years ago and has just done it again. DC bus should be between 360 and 400 volts dc. Mine was up around 420.
