How can I slove earror EO, in my BW PC-940 - Canon PC-940 Black and White Copier

You can have this Error Code resolved, I am just not sure that it would be wise. These are the facts. You have a 10 year old machine which has an EO error code which means there is a problem with the Fusing Unit. The parts required to fix the error code are anywhere from $150.00 to $250.00 depending on if you go with the whole fusing unit or just the Fixing Film Assembly which is going to contain the defective part(s). There is some dis-assembly of the machine required in order to replace the parts. If you hire someone to do this you are looking at another $100 to $200 in labor depending on who you call. So you could easily spend $250 to $450 to repair the problem. These type of small copiers are sold brand new at Office Depot and other stores now days for $100.00. They will also have a USB port so you can hook it to a PC and use it as a printer. I am in the repair business and have been for 27 years. I would not recommend that any of my customers make a repair to this machine of this magnitude. I have in fact referred 2 of them in the last 5 months to go buy the new Canon D340 instead of repairing the old one.
