I am getting stop: c0000135 unable to locate component, this application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found.. how do I fix when i cant get past the blue screen?

Not sure what os you're running, and assuming it's xp, but see helpful links below.
To get past the blue screen, you need to press f8 during boot up, try using last known good configuration to start windows. Otherwise, try booting into safe mode. See the Reboot instead of shutdown section in this article. to disable the restart on system failure. Also helpful may be this link or this link or this link. Here's one more I saved. Unfortunately, many of the MS links are no longer valid, now that support for xp is dropped.
If you can run chkdsk on the system, you might be able to recover corrupted or bad sectors that caused the dll to be lost. For a list of device error codes, see here.
Also consider the possibility that malware is responsible. In that case, use MBAM to scan the system.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Hi I am Farah, and as I wanted to download java , it came thet" " is not valid win 32 application'. What shoudl I do? Thx

It is possible that you are attempting to install a 64-bit version of Java when you have a 32-bit operating system. Check your operating and confirm this. In Vista you can find this using Start > Control Panel > System. This is similar if you have Windows 7. Here is what it looks like:

pcjanitor.jpg
If after that you, you follow these instructions from Sun (Java) to locate and install the 32-bit version.

Error: x64.exe not a valid Win32 application This article applies to:
  • Platform(s): Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003
  • Browser(s): Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla 1.4+
  • Java version(s): 6.0
SYMPTOMS

While trying to install Java a user gets an error message similar to:
' ... x64.exe not a valid Win32 application'

CAUSE

The error message is a result of trying to install a 64-bit version of Java on a 32-bit operating system.
SOLUTION

User needs to install a 32-bit version of Java software, since a 64-bit version is not compatible with their 32-bit operating system.

Follow these steps to download 32-bit Java
  1. Go to Manual download
  2. Click Windows XP/Vista/2000/2003/2008 Online.
  3. The File Download dialog box appears.
  4. Choose the folder location.
  5. (Save the file to a known location on your computer, for example, to your desktop).
  6. Click Save.
  7. Close all applications including the browser.
  8. Double-click on the saved file icon to start the installation process.

When i urn on the computer a blue screen comes on and it say's stop: c0000269 {illegal System dll Relocation} The system dll Kernel 132.dll was relocted in memory. The application will not run properly....

Hi, you can try rolling back your operating system to a time before the problem started, by starting in safe mode. To do this press the ESC button during bootup and select start in safe mode, once there you can select this option.
If this dos'nt work you will need to reinstall the operating system, unfortunately you will need an operating CD for this.

Hi there.

You might get this if the file mcenspc.dll is leftout while uninstalling some program or when attempted to elimitate spyware or malware through spyware scan.

This has proved not to be a threat and it is safe to remove from the Computer. To do this :

1. Click Start -> Run -> Type System32 -> Ok
2. Look for mcenspc.dll
3. Right Click on the file and click Delete
4. Reboot the computer

Everything should be fine now

Dll user32.dll problem

Certain programs may not start after you install security update 925902 (MS07-017) and security update 928843 (MS07-008) on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2). Additionally, you may receive an error message that resembles the following: application_executable_name - Illegal System DLL Relocation

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\Windows\System32\Hhctrl.ocx occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.
