Reastart the computer in Safe Mode and then run all your security scans. Restart the computer and then go online to Trend Micro House Call and download and run the free scan. Remove all it finds. http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

AOL Error :

If you have nothing running as far as programs, you may have a service running or there may be something running on your system using resources. Are you running AVG anti-virus? This program has a bug that causes this behavior.
You should download and run Process Explorer to see what is running.
This program allows you to see the programs that are taking up all of the system resources on your computer.

C: and D: are not open

Sir,
The problem is affected with trojan virus. It's high level of virus affecting your system. U must update the antivirus program and scan the full system. Also Right Click of C:, go to properties, go to tools tab, click the error checking box and tick all the options, u want ask for "yes" click yes. After reboot the system and run the check disc if any error found and the problem would be rectified. If not better to reinstall the OS.
Also try these steps.........

1. Open Start>>Run and type cmd and press enter. This will open a command prompt window. On this command prompt window type the following steps.

2. type cd\

3. type attrib -r -h -s autorun.inf

4. type del autorun.inf

5. now type d: and press enter for d: drive partition. Now repeat steps 3 and 4. Similarly repeat step 5 for all your hard disk partition.

Restart your system and your trouble will be fixed.

Thanks Good Luck

Norton Anti-virus will not launch

If you have access to another computer download avast anti-virus and malwarebytes anti-malware and burn to cd or use a flash drive. Malwarebytes will remove that PC Defender rouge anti-virus software and any other malware you may have,

If you don't have another computer you can download the files to try booting into safe mode with networking. This option should allow you to download and install the programs above,

If your able to download them run anti-malware first. Let t fix what it can. Then install avast anti-virus, when asked if you want to schedule a boot time scan say yes, then when asked to reboot say no and open avast and update it, When prompted to reboot do so.

Hope this helps

Microsoft autoroute

Hello Sir / Madam,

1.If you are using Microsoft Windows XP or an earlier version, click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.

If you are using WindowsVista, click Start clip_image001.jpg, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click Regedit in the Programs list.2.Delete the following subkeys from the registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanner.1
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanResult
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanResult.1
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Microsoft.MapPoint.WiFiScanResults10
