Question about LG 42PX4DR 42 in. Plasma TV
I have a Thompson Wysius 42" plasma screen that has just died. it is trying to display the picture provided to it bit it is just lines of bright green, red and blue. Even when we disconnect the tuner it should display a floating icon saying "no signal" but this too is not present so it is definitely the screen. When I opened the back, I noticed it is made by LG and the model number is PDP42V52000. It was made July 2003 and we bought it in the December and it has been fine since. Any ideas. I am not sure if the Product I have listed below is correct as I guess you are in the USA and this is a European product that has been rebranded I think.
Its a well know issue for LGG, the sad thing is that many get the problem after the guarentee is out.
Havent found out exactly what and how much it use to cost.
