read your user manual as it could be a suds saver operation meaning that the machine pumps water back from a washing tub to conserve water when washing
Is it SUE or SUD code?
Sud
SUDS LOCK (Overdose of detergent detected during the wash cycle)
The motor control unit senses a suds lock condition by analyzing the current draw on the drive motor. If "Sud" is displayed a potential suds lock is detected. This may signify a bad pump, an extra heavy load, excessive detergent, or excessive suds.
Potential Causes
• If too much detergent was used, run the unit through a Rinse/ Spin cycle then a Normal cycle without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
• Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked
• Check Wire Harness connections to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Check / Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects
• Check Drain Pump
• Check the Pressure Switch
• Check CCU
to much detergent, sud is for suds.try running the washer with nothing but water, after 5 minutes drain out the water to get the suds out.are you using H.E. detergent and if so it should only be like 1/4 of a cup,any more can damage the machine, the extra detergent can damage the spider gear in the washer.
Check for clogging in your drain hose, block inthe ddrain valve/ drain pump and foremost the voltage to the drain pump must be present when the machine program is reached.
If not the controller can be defective.
