It sounds like either the screen is burned out or you dropped it in water or it got wet try getting a new battery and then try turning it back on it should work if not take to your local resaller they should be able to fix it for you if this doesn't work

A white screen, especially on slider phones, is usually caused by a loose connection between the video output cable and the phone's motherboard. Unfortunately, opening the phone to access the cable voids the warranty, and is a delicate operation which risks damaging the phone.

Your best solution is to the contact your service provider. Most phones come with a 90 day - 1 year warranty on a service plan.

My samsung screen is white but it works ive tried everything, this hbas happen before screen going white and the battery had to be without juice to come back. it works but ithe screeen is white

hi, the main reason the screen turns whits is due to the thin ribbon that sends the data from the circuit board to the screen being damaged what happens is that the thin copper wires that are inside the ribbon ware and then break causing a short to the screen and this is what turns the screen white. this happens on most flip and slide phones as the ribbon moves when you slide or flip the phone so over time it becomes brittle and you lose the connection and this turns the screen white.

sometimes it will right itself if you open and close the phone a couple of times but this wont be a long term fix how ever it may be that bad that this will no longer work, its not expensive to get this ribbon replaced but taking you phone to a small phone shop would be your cheapest option.

Hi there

If you turn off the phone, remove the SIM, clean it with your finger to remove any dust, reinsert it and turn on the phone, does it work again (even for a short moment)? I know you've done this once already, but does it work momentarily if you do this again?

Please do not rate this reply or your reply will not be returned to me. Thanks.

There might be a problem with the phone itself, you already did the best thing to do but still having the same issues. The phone is already experiencing hardware failure that you need to go to a technician to evaluate the phone's overall functions.

Why does the screen on my Samsung M520 turn white?

the problem comes from the led film behind the screen. There is absolutly nothing you can do about it now. When you got your fingers all over the screen by sliding it, it starts to break. It isn't going to get better, probably only going to get worse. the only thing that you can do is buy anotherone im afraid

Engineer came, installed software update ,10 minute job.....TV worked fine for 1/2 day unfortunately: Then images turned black and white in all channels TV turned itself off, and stanby and OPC buttons started flashing. When TV came back on its own 10 mins later , screen had 2 large square staines superimposed in image (as if it was a burnt screen)...Engineer will be back next week...all quite sad really for a new TV.....will keep u posted
