How to connect a Technics Graphic Equalizer to a JVC stereo system?

Sirs:

Just bought a new Technics G.E., model SH-8017 to hook up with my JVC digital amp/receiver (model RX-315TN, a CompuLink-enabled system). I already have a JVC tape deck (model TD-W315), JVC CD player (XL-V261TN), a VCR and DVD player already integrated into the system. How and where would I connect the Technics Graphic Equalizer? Which posts would connect to which inputs? Or is this even feasible?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Your situation is not so easy to solve but the ideal solution to connect everything to mixer(line in) and connect equalizer to main inserter in mixer(in this you got equalizer work with all media)(check mackie mixer dealer and ask about model have main inserter.

Hooking up EQ to RECIEVER for a TECHNICS MODEL SH-8017

You'll need 4 connections total. On my integrated amp, I connected the four connections to all Line In and Line Out ports. And the other ends into the tape 2/EXTRA ports respectively.

Connecting a tape deck and equalizer to a stereo receiver

Outs to Ins in a Tape Loop on the receiver. Model numbers make it easier if we or you can find the manuals for the receiver. If only one Tape Loop, nest the tape deck into the tape loop on the equalizer.

hi,
Try this. You need 4 RCA setreo Chord for this.

1. connect the cd player out to the LINE input of Equlizer.
2. connect the Record out of equlizer to Tape's Record input.
3. connect the Play out of the Tape to the Play in of Equlizer.
4. connect the Line out of the Equlizer to the CD input of amp.

Always Select CD in the amp. And select between tape and CD in the Equlizer.
OK

I cnt find away to instal my stereo graphic

'Organizer'?

It takes two to tango.Install to what? No manuals?

Any analog audio processor or tape deck traditionally goes into a Tape Monitor Loop on a receiver or preamp. Be advised that the use of any Tape/Processor Loop will disable digital audio sources on a digital receiver/preamp.

Web search that term. Then add 'equalizer' to it. They all attach in the same basic way.

The power supply unit has failed in your equaliser. If it is the main transformer check for the continuity of the primary and if open you will need to replace with the same one or rewind with the same parameter. However if the thermal fuse is blown you can short the winding with a fuse wire. Also check on the dc side for any fusible resistors that would have opened out. Hope you check this out. Good day
