Can someone help me please,,,,, my maytag epic z front load washer..
The ccu board went bad, I put another one in , it was wrong one, the times
werte all off , and one missing,
I finnally got the proper ccu board, it is great on the times
however on rapid wash when it gets to 7 minuits it clicks off and is done,
like it is reading last board I installed, however other times are ok,
also water leval is not correct,
it used to fill to door level, or more
now only 2 or 3 inches of water in it, again I think reading the last ccu board that was in it , it was for a whirlpool, not maytag ????
again , I did get proper board in it, but , Is there a reset deal I need to do
so water level is proper and dont shut down at 7 min, on rapid wash

Any luck? the certified Maytag repair company looked at mine and quoted $445. for the repair. it is 15 months old so of course the warranty is obsolete.
The solution is a new CCU panel and Temperature sensor.
Thanks for using FixYa. F11 is a communication error between the central control unit (CCU) and the motor control unit (MCU). To start with check the wire harness connections between CCU and MCU, and then check the motor. If both of them appear to be working fine then it seems that the MCU of your washer has gone bad as the control unit seems to be working fine. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Maytag service came out and told me it is control panel Part# W10217425. I washed 4 loads 1 day and came back 4 days later and got 1 load done. Then it wouldn't start and they won't replace. I got mine at Home Depot but, Maytag won't replace. They say it has to break 3 times before they will replace. After Maytag sent someone to fix and they said they had to order part and didn't know when they would be back. I called Home Depot and they overnight sent me part. Now Maytags service says they cant come back for a week and if I put in myself I lose my waranty. If you don't have waranty anymore, I found at Sears parts for $12.45 for board.
I think you've actually got an uprated control board.
Modern designs allow for less water usage - most in as you say about 3"
Water level is determined in 2 ways #1 pressure - A pressure switch is used with an inverted container low down in the water. As level rises, pressure builds untill the switch opens and the water shuts off.
#2 Time - The valve is only allowed to open for a preset time (to prevent flooding)
If the first board was faulty, the pressure switch probably was being ignored, so was overfilling.
Older models also used more water per wash.
Shutting off after 10 minutes on a quick wash? - if it performs a full cycle in this time, it's working normally. As I said - just updated.
Let me know if there are any defects or faults , otherwise, it seems to be "modernised" by using the new board.
