Hi fellow Canadian
I'm also an expert here at Fixya...haven't had time to be online much lately, but I have a "Genuine MDG" notebook with the G733 motherboard, and all the Teapo brand 1500uf, 6.3V caps are either buged at the top, or pushing out the rubber stopper at the bottom. My only problem is, I can't find any source for these caps that are 12.5mm tall like the originals, and it doesn't look like taller ones will fit..I've tried Global in Toronto, Digikey, and several websites.. Where did you get your replacement caps?
i found these caps from old mother borads, such as 80486... you may even find them from some video cards.. if no luck, solder lead wirs away from the solder pads.
i lost my fixya account, so here is me
