I just brought a ddr586r dehumidifer. I have had it on for at least 4 days.

-   I also just bought one last week. I first noticed that the fan is always on, is that normal? It started collecting water initially (very little) but since then it hasn't been collecting anything. The RH reading is showing 53, I set it to 50 and let it run for a day. No change in reading and no water in the bucket. What gives? Is this thing broken? -   jimbojone310

-   I have the same issue with my Danby Model #DDR586R. I've had this problem ever since the first day I bought it. I think it may have something to do with the little 'knobs' that broke off of the overflow lever within the bucket. However, I made a makeshift connection of the overfill cup to the bucket which seems to stick. Alas, not a drop of water has condensed in the bucket since I bought it. CAN ANYONE HELP?!?!? -   mkirk00
