I've lost the cd to my printer and i have a new computer and the printer want work cause my computer don't reconize the printer

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark Interpret S405 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.

If you don't have the key you cannot install the operating system [which I assume it's about a Windows XP].
This case you have to options:
1. ask from the manufacturer [Microsoft] a REPLACEMENT CD because you have lost the initial one [assuming you've BOUGHT the previous one...!];
2. buy another installation CD.

There are some FREE software that help you to get your product key but for each one apart you have to have THE OPERATING SYSTEM INSTALLED already on your computer.

You can install the printer to your new computer by downloading and installing the driver from the manufacturer's website. Click on this link to go to Lexmark's support site. Select your operating system, downoad and save file. Open it , follow installation instructions and you are ready to go. Let me know if this helps.
