How to resart in starting if put new sim in my mobile it asking security code how im restart my mobile

If it is a used phone and it was never wiped. Then the old security code is active. Changing the sim does not change the security code of the device. If it is asking for a sim security code, then the sim card is locked and you must have the code or the sim is just a piece of plastic. Did the service provider put a code on the sim and forgot to tell you.?..Take the sim back and ask for another without the security code on it. Sims can be coded so that if they are stolen they cannot be used in another device.

I need help getting my phone back normal because i hit the puk button and i need to know how to get out of it and every time i turn it on it says puk blocked emergancy calls only

hi the PUK code is the security code for the sim card so if your phone is telling you that either the sim card is blocked or you have enetered the wrong PUK code more than 5 times so what this has done is blocked the sim card.

all you need to do is call your service provider and ask them to unblock the sim how ever as the sim is sayin PUK blocked then this is telling us that the sim has been cancelled. so what you will need to do is either get a new sim and ask for your number to be transfered onto the new sim or cut your losses and just get a new sim and new number.

the problem is as the sim is saying that to ou the chances are the sim is scrap the PUK code is a security code for the sim card should you lose your phone and someone tries putting your sim in another phone to use it or get your details, so what happens is the sim card asks for the PUK code and this code is between 8 and 11 digits so guessing it is impossible and the only place you can get this code from is your service provider.

i would try giving them a call first just in case they can unblock it for you but the chances are it blockend and it now scrap but if you want to keep your old number all you need to do is get a new sim card and aks them to transfer the number onto the new sim card this way you will keep your old number, how ever you will lose all the info on the sim card such as numbers an texts etc, how ever most phones store this info on the phone so you may find that when you put the new sim card in you should have all your number still because they might be stored on the phone and not the sim.

please let me knowhow you get on or if you need further assistance ok

please could you rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Nokia N 70 - Error - 'Sim Card Rejected'

Hi,

IF you put PUK code many times depending on the model it wil lock the sim card. This is because to prevent unathorised person using your SIM card.

Default PIN code for nokia mobile is 0000
PUK code will be given by the service provider only.

Please call your service provider or go to service provider office, they will assist you in this issue. And they will have a security check like name,Phone number and other information to check weather the SIM card belongs to you only. Then they will assit you.

Thanx

Keep saying insert SIM card

You are trying to use a SIM from another Network or Handset but your phone is LOCKED to your old network and/or to a specific SIM card and number: this is why it is asking you for the unlock code to remove the restriction. It you are no longer under contract or obligations (such as minimum total recharge amounts for apre-paid handsets), then you could try to request the unlock code from the original service provider of your handset.
As for asking to insert SIM card, make sure that the SIM is correctly and securely inserted in your handset SIM holder. Also check that the SIM is still functional by inserting it in another handset: SIM card can be permanently and physically disabled if you attempt to enter too many consecutive invalid codes (usually around 10).
Hope it helps and good luck!

My old sim card wont work in my new phone

If your new cell phone is with a different phone service provider than the the old cell phone then the SIM card won't work in the new phone.
When you place a new or a existing SIM card from another phone provider into your mobile phone and it asks for a Security code then :-
This phone is locked to the original mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for this phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in this phone or sign up with another phone provider using this phone.

You could ring the phone provider and ask for the unlock security code because you are going overseas and wish to use your phone with a prepaid SIM card from another country. This maybe a free service.
The other way to get your phone unlock is to use a phone unlocking company on the Internet, they usually charge a couple of Dollars for their services. Use Google and search for "Security unlocking code” companies in your area.
You can also try this WEB site :-
http://www.mobileunlockguide.com/mobile-phone/
The IMEI number is unique the each mobile phone.
The number is printed on the label under the battery.
You can also get the IMEI number by entering this on your phone
*#06# It will then display your IMEI number and you may also get a unique global serial number. Your IMEI number should be 15 digits.

I bought a cell phone from a friend

sounds like the phone was set up to ask for a sim password from the old user. Now that you put your card in it wants the password but the phone does not know the card has been switched. Ask your buddy the code to unlock the bios and disable the password. If al lelse fails put his old sim card back in and then disable the password for the sim card. This feature is a security so people cannot access your contact stored on your sim card.

Security code for 6133

Open phone, don't go to any menus. Dial *#7780# and press green send button. It will say if you would like to restore factory settings and say yes. Then it asks for a code. This is when you put 12345 and then press OK. This should help because it did for me.

GOOD LUCK!!
