I bought a ring tone from "itsjustsomerandomstore"

Your Nokia C2-01 mobile phone comes with a USB cable, all you have to do is connect your pc to your phone and click on mass storage device on your phone, you now go to the original folder u saved the downloaded song on your computer and simply copy and paste it on the music folder of your phone or wherever you want to save it on your phone.
That should do it But please be free to contact me for more help.
Thanks

Tip

Audio files/MP3 and ring tones

Discovery: You are able to download wave files (and other audio file types) to your phone and even be given the feature, 'set as ring tone' -DONT.
You will find that your phone malfunctions if you set anything other than an MP3 from your phone's MP3 folder, as a ring tone.
It's the fault of the phone's firmware that leads you to believe you can select a ring tone from an audio file that is stored outside of the MP3 folder.
It is also evident, with the limited memory the phone itself has to store MP3s, that you will NOT be able to personalize ring tones for every contact in your phone book!  Again, this is not explained in the manual properly and has led to much confusion surrounding MP3 functionality on the Prada LG.
I hope this helps.

How do i get a mp3 as my ringtone

go the the profile.........personalize it and edit the ring tone option....select the folder where your mp3 ring tone are placed.....select the tone you want as ring tone and press ok......
this does not work on the handsets like nokia 6600, 3600 etc......
for such users you have to convert the mp3 format to wave format because such hand sets does not support mp3 format..........

Can I use a sound from the sound album for a ring tone and how do I set it LG 285

That depends on what format the phone has default tones of. If they're set for mp3 format then you can use an mp3 of any kind as a tone also the file size is key. Some phones have a limit of 300K. There are programs available online to create your own ringtones from music files. I've created over 300 tones from audio clips from movies and TV as well as many music files. You'll never have to purchase and download ringtones from your service provider.

On most phones you can connect it to your pc and transfer files. If not you can use a memory card to transfer data. Just save the file to your tones folder and then select it as your default or an individual caller's tone. Good luck

How to download ringtone from my pc to cell phone omni

Copy and paste your ring tones or music to My Documents/My Ringtones folder. You will be able to select the music or tones at the Sounds and Notifications setup page.
To save space on your memory, you can also store it in My Storage which is the 8 or 16GB card.
Create a folder called My Ringtones under My Storage. Put all your MP3 songs in My Storage/My Ringtones.

How can i move music to ring tone file

You don't need to move the music tone to a ring tone file in order to use it?!

You can edit your profiles, when choosing the ringtone for any feature i/e phone - Browse, which will show you all tones including your music folder and it will allow you to choose any saved music tones here

"Ringback" generally refers to the music people hear when they call your phone. You have to set that up thru Verizon (or other carrier).

If you're talking about ring tones (what YOU hear when the phone rings) that's easy. Look for a folder called "Rings" inside the Windows folder on your phone. If you put an audio file (wav, mp3, etc) in that folder, it will become available as a ring tone.
