I don't know how your question ended up here, but this is an independent online help center. Your question has shown up under the riding mowers category. I doubt you sent a riding mower by mail. If it is a Black & Decker service center that you returned your mower to, you will need to contact them directly. This is the closest center I found.

Lawnmower won't start up


I have the EXACT same problem with my mower. I called the Black & Decker number listed above, and learned that the mower is under recall for this problem. So call them and find out where the nearest dealer is, and they will fix it for free.

B&D MM850 starts then stops a few seconds later, then won't start


I was having a similar problem. I tried starting it up with the switch case open. I saw a very tiny puff of smoke come out of the switch. I replaced the switch and it was fine.

Saw your post about Black and Decker MM525 Lawn Mower


Most lawn mower mfgs offer a mulching kit which usually consists of a metal plate to block the discharge opening and a mulching blade which just has a longer sharpenned cutting edge.
With a little labor you can make your own.
