Question about Sony VAIO VGN-CR220E/P Notebook
I contacted VAIO and i was told that my problem was probably hardware, my laptop takes about 10 minutes to start up and when it does not all programs are working correctly. I did a system recovery but it is still not working, i purchased a Performance Service Plan and i was told it would cover me even if i don-t live in the US, I live in Guatemala and the people from VAIO told me i was not covered. Can you help me with this problem, because i was told i did have warranty, i bought my laptop in Orlando Florida in December last year.
This is gennerally cuased by a hard drive failure. Replace the hard drive, reload the operating system and your machine will be fine. As far as the warranty, that is something you'll have to take up with Sony. Try to get them to send you a preloaded hard drive, you may have to send them yours.
