If your internet speed is fast enough problem can be browser related. If you are using internet explorer you can use Firefox or Opera. Also you can record the stream and replay seamlessly.

To record your stream you can use several programs. Real Player is also able to record here is the link that you can download free of charge http://www.real.com/freeplayer/

You need a faster internet connection.

If you are using wireless try connecting your laptop directly to your wireless router using a network cable, if the video's are not OK then you may have issues with your wireless. Could be interference or signal issues.

If it's still slow with the wired connection then you may just have a slow connection.

If you are on dial-up then forget about it.

It may help to ensure that you have an updated flash plug-in, visit http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and upgrade if needed.

Video over the internet requires quite a bit of bandwidth so if your connection is slow or congested then it will have to buffer more. I don't beleive you have a problem with your computer, it's just having a hard time getting enough data to play the video's smoothly.

U tube videos keep stopping

If it is pausing and then playing again after a few moments, this is just a process called 'buffering'. It is allowing the player to download more of the video before it begins playing again. To eliminate this, pause the video at the beginning and wait for the red bar in the play track to fill all the way. This indicated that the video had completely loaded.
If the video will not play past a certain point, reload the page. Sometimes if a network connection refreshes during a video download, this issue will occur. If it happens continually, make sure you have a steady network connection.

Acer has jerky video

The video is jerky because the rate at which the video stream is being received on the internet is not keeping up with the rate at which the video is being played on the screen by the video player application that you are using. The video player has an incoming video stream buffer and if the amount of video data in it falls below a minimum amount, the player will pause until the incoming stream refills it to some point above the minimum amount. Most video players will have a pause button and clicking it will manually pause the video player so allowing its buffer (or cache) to fill until you click its play button again. The player will have an indicator of how much of the video content has been downloaded into the buffer and if you pause until all the content has been downloaded, clicking play at this point results in a play of the video that will not be jerky.

WHY YOU TUBE IS GETTING PAUSED IN BETWEEN

Its more than likely due to buffering, your pc has to download so much of a video before it will play. If you have a slower internet connection this really affects streaming media. Best thing to do is start your video, then hit pause and let it buffer up. You will see a faint red line below the video indicating how much of the video is downloaded and ready to view. After you let the video buffer and the bar move to the right some you should be able to hit play and watch your videos without it pausing every few seconds.

Videa stops and buffers

Sounds like you are trying to stream video--apparently your internet connection is too slow for the speed of the streaming video. You buffer some of the content and your computer starts playing it. Since it is coming into the computer so slowly, your computer plays everything in the buffer and then has to wait for more content.

Youtube's Flash player keeps buffering

1. Its becoz the YouTube server was busy!

2. Just ''Refresh" that page to reload that video.

3. YouTube videos takes a long time to buffer on slow connections.

4. It also depends upon the length of the videos!

YouTube Flash player constantly buffers even if un-nessesary

The best way is to have a DSL or cable connection..You can also use a wireless signal (with a very strong signal)...It buffers when it is downloading the video and the slower your internet connection, the more buffering it will do...also try closing all the other windows except the youtube window and always keep your memory clean using the internet options "delete browsing history"

Where do I find the buffer settings?

Make sure your desktop is fairly empty of Icons except the bare minimum system icons. Also, make sure there aren't alot of Icons next to the time display at the bottom right of your screen. If there are, close them and then try streaming video.
