Mr Felnuz, PCG-7G2l is the serial # and not the model #.
Model Numbers are usually located on a sticker located on the
back or bottom of the unit. They may also be listed on the product
manual.
You can also find the model # by clicking on start, select run, then type"msinfo32" in run.
Press enter, there you can see the system model.
Model # starts with initials VGN.
Once locating the model #.
