Question about RCA RP5420 Clock Radio
Electric went off and now when service is back on the Auto Time Set displays the wrong time. Even though batteries were in at the time the screen went blank; batteries were new. How do I set the correct time ?
There is no sliding bar on the right rear and I don't want to throw out a brand new clock. PLEASE HELP.
At the top of the clock, there is four positions for the slider. The first is shown as a key, which I assume is the automatic time setting mode. The second is Wake 1, the third is Wake 2 and all the way to the right is a manual time setting mode. If you slide it all the way to the right, you can set the time, then either keep it in that mode or return it back to automatic mode. Either way, you now have the correct time displayed.

The set time function may be set by setting all three alarm settings to the current time Then slide the alarm function off and the current time will be displayed on the clock.
My opinion; Thompson Inc. should be banned from selling anything!
Burned twice, smarter now.

Addendum to previous post on Sept 10 by me..
The slide switch in the lower back middle should be all the way to the right before unplugging the power.
Sorry that I missed that. Rattler
