My pc is very very very slow but what can i do?

RAM is very important to work faster. Increase RAM if it is lower.

Don't install too many programs, games etc. in driveC:\. Instead install in other drives.

Some antivirus makes pc slow.

Scan all the drives periodically. Weekly defrag all the drives.

Delete the .tmp files.

I have an HP Pavilion a706n PC and I just replaced my old monitor with a new LG E2040 monitor. I need to upgrade my video card and don't know what I can or should upgrade to.

If the existing graphics card works with your new monitor, there isn't need to upgrade the graphics card unless you have a specific need such as a graphics intensive games program that doesn't work with the old graphics card.

When i play online games why is it so slow

You are right when you say it's really slow when you play games online, 1. The Game server is accessing by you through wires and network devices, so this makes the games slow. If the game is installed in your pc, there's should be no speed problem, 2. Network bandwidth will be accumulated by the game when you run the program, so don't take tension,... we are facing the same problem and it's just normal. There's nothing different. Good luck

How old is a LG Flatron LCD782E moniter and will it play upto date games

It is not the monitor that determines if your computer will play games; it is the video card, memory installed, and the processor.

These minimum requirements are listed on the game box and each game has different requirements.

Flat screen PC/TV monitor.

Most likely you do not have enough video memory - that will definitely slow everything down when you switch to an LCD monitor. If you have a video card, your best bet would be to get a better one. If the video chip is on the motherboard (the connector will be vertical instead of horizontal on a tower), it might be possible to increase the memory because it uses some of the system RAM.
