The push in wire connector broke loose. I need to find a replacement part or find out how to remove the existing wires.

In most cases you can take a large pin or needle and release the lock from the wire side. Each wire is pushed into the plastic block and a small tab holds it in place. If you push the pin or needle into the hole with the wire you can release the tab.

How can I check the Stanton 500 mk11 cartridge is good, I have no output in one channel ?

To really be sure, under a microscope to look at the diamiond, but i haven\'t seen one channel oke and one chanel no sound. Then it should allways makes sound , only ckrackling. So be sure your wires are fit by tightening the connection and measure your output till the last connection with your stylus and move your connections a bit , if that\'s allright , then is it a cable or input from something outside your tt. But have you checked it also with first cleaning your needle well and another record and lift each side of the turntable a bit. Sometimes is one dust particle enough, even with a new stylus. Is your output line or phono? O a technics, take the whole needle out and those fours pins you have to lubricate with right stuf ( a tiny bit ) and move them in and out and you havent cheked the connection with your om/concorde, but i think that one pin won\'t come out totally, so pull a bit ( after lubrication ) push them all inside and watch if they come all four back. And pls replace those terrible quality rca cables from technics, they are crap and a nice pair from another brand is only 30 euro a pair, but you needle ain\'t broke for sure and does it work with another unit?.......(still clean and lubricate the stuff).I hear from you.

Foot control does not work

Does it work by pushing the Start/Stop button. If so the problem is probably with the foot control. Make sure all connections are secure. You may need a new foot control. Contact your local Viking Dealer and try one of their foot controls to determine if it is indeed the foot control or something else. You can find your nearest authorized Viking Dealer from the Viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us Click on Locate a Dealer for your local dealers.

I need to replace the needle

There is a thumb screw by the needle. Just unscrew it enough to be able to remove the needle by pulling straight down. You may need a small screw driver. HOWEVER, when you take the needle out, by pulling it down, notice where the FLAT SIDE IS It may face backwards or forwards, but it is important that the new needle is inserted this same way. Push the new needle up into the opening where the old needle came out, making sure it is pushed all the way up. You may need to unscrew the thumb screw a bit more to facilitate insertion. Jiggle the needle while pushing it up into the opening to be quite sure it is seated properly. Then, hold the needle with one hand and tighten the thumb screw with the other. Using a small screw driver, (one should have come with the machine), tighten the thumb screw all the way down. No need to over tighten, just make sure it is really snug. Piece of cake:) Good luck. She may have broken it, but he needs to read the manual:)

88 2.9 ranger sputters at 2500 to 3000 rpms when i drive it. it runs fine until i try to get on it or get into higher gear and rpms ut spits and sputters

If all plugs ,wires etc have been done, next i would confirm proper fuel pressure, then I would check throttle position sensor. An old analog ( with sweeping arm) multimeter on ohms, remove connector at TPS and connect to 2 of the pins on TPS .(throttle position sensor) Engine off, rotate throttle, or have someone push it from inside, slowly, gradually and needle of multimeter should sweep across as well, if not try different combination of 2 pins. When you find right combination that makes needle move when throttle pushed, observe the needle as someone pushes throttle slowly and steady from slow to wide open. If the needle jumps, or falls off and comes back up as throttle steadily pushed, then replace the TPS. If the needle slow and steady moves up /across and no stumbling, the TPS is probably ok. Make sure you test it a few times at least.

Self threader won't work

the needle should be in the up position or the threader won't come down, still when it does, you have to get the thread right across the hole in the needle for it to catch,

another problem is that you bent or broke the center pin that pulls the thread through the needle,

the tip that comes to the needle has three parts, the two outer ones that wrap around the needle and the center pin that goes through the hole in the needle,

If this is bent you may be able to bend it back if broke you need to get it replaced

take a good magnifier and take a look at the center pin!

Hope this helps

I have a problem with the keyboard on Dell C600 laptop. It seems like the left part of the keyboard is disabled. No respons on 1,2,q,w,a,s,z,x,Esc. I purchased a new keyboard on eBay, but it didn't fix the...

The C600 keyboard connector is a ribbon cable with a push down to connect block. When one side of the keyboard keys do not work it is usually because the pins in the keyboard socket do not make a good contact with the ribbon cable.

Remove the keyboard and visually inspect the pins in the connector.
If necessary you can prise them back into the correct position using a sewing needle or something similar to get behind the pins.

Make sure you discconect the power supply and battery before you attempt.
