Dent in lcd screen can it be repaired

Hi, I'm affraid the dent cannot be taken out or repaired, it may crack the very thin glass that encapsulates the liquid crystals causing bleeding or running of the LC's making things worse.

Hope this helps (: Please leave thumbs up if it does :)

42 inch lcd fell off tv stand put big dent in screen everything els works ok can new screen be fited and wot cost

Almost all of the time it is not economic to replace the LCD panel.

There is a market for broken LCD TV where the circuit boards are used to repair
units where the glass display is intact.

Advise selling your broken TV on Gumtree / adtrader or equivalent and buy a new unit.

This tv not repairable, because this tv only can do is,replace the LCD screen panel. The screen panel is 90% of the tv.By replacing the LCD screen panel will cost the same a new tv.Sorry,ur tv does not worth as a whole tv anymore.Only worth as a salvage for electronic's boards for parts, that it.

Damaged Insignia NS-L32Q-10A Screen

The damage actually occurred on the LCD (liquid crystal display) itself, not on the screen. Therefore, when the tv is switched off, no damage is visible. What happens is that when it is turned on, the liquid crystals "leak" because the display is broken. This is why you can see lines and a small dent. Depending on the tv, replacement LCD panels may be sold separately, though chances are that it would cost less to simply buy a new tv. Thanks for your post, and I wish you the best of luck! Sincerely, Der Strom

Need to replace the screen due to accident which dented LCD, how do I find a replacement?

I can not get a part number for the LCD panel from any of my RCA parts distributors. You will need to contact RCA directly. If the panel is damaged and needs to be replaced, it is quite possible that the panel cost will exceed a replacement TV.

Good luck,
Dan

Wiimote hit my 42" lcd can it be fixed?

The LCD panel which is responsible for the picture is toast. You will need to replace it. You can have it repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new LCD.

I recommend just finding the best sale you can and buy a new one.

My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one. After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.

Cat knocked over the Dynex dx-lcd32 TV and dented the screen in.

To answer your question, your probably better off buying a new television. LCD tv's are made of a thin layer of special ionic chemicals sandwiched between two plastic plates, this allows it to light up to produce an image. If your television image is distorted in any way, this means the ionic chemicals have leaked or become solidified, any repair (if even possible) would require replacing the majority of the television, and it will be cheaper just to get a new tv. Sorry Ron!
