I have a green spot in the upper left corner when watching tv . Is there a repair for this problem?

The spots are caused by errors in the eeprom affecting the optical engine data. The fix is easy but it will have to be done by an authorized Panasonic shop. Call your toll free customer line at panasonic to find out, but I'm sure the repair should be covered under warranty regardless of the age of the unit. Thx

Bright tv

Those lines are the return beam - they should be invisible. It's a relatively easy fix done in the video final board. If it's worth fixing -  only you can know that: how old the tv is, how good it is, how much does the local repairmen charge, how much money do you have. Probably it's gonna be cheaper in the end to just replace the tv.

Problem for Samsung TXN2798HF 27" TV Shuts off by itself after about 15 minutes. Sometimes longer sometimes shorter. Don't know much about the inner working of a television but I am pretty handy at fixing...

the power supply board is failing and needs replacing.replacing board is the easiest thing to do, lay tv down on a soft blanket(screen down), remove back cover and you will see the board. 4 screws and a couple of connectors and it is done. call 1-800-samsung to find the closest service/parts center to order board.

My Sony KP-53XBR300 blinks on and off. It has gotten progressively worse. From once in a blue moon to constantly. The standby flashes five times and has done so since we got his television used.

TV requires Screen volt (G2) adjustment.
Let me know to help you if you are familiar with TV repair and have electronics knowledge OR ask local tv tech to fix it.

Sony 51 inch Projection TV.

Dear AJ,

To be very Honest, i am not well conversant with Rear Projection TVs.

I suggest that you try with someone else.
Again from my personal point of view, i am of the feeling that itcan be fixed, and pretty easily. There must be a "Service Mode" which can be accessed by the remove, and then the Convergence Settings / Adjustments can be corrected.

But, I shall make additional enquiries and and let you know.

Picture cutoff

i have done some research on this and have come up with this:
1. the tv itself has no manual picture adjustments it is all done automaticaly even if you go inside the actual case of the tv there just is no way to physicaly adjust this.
2. i think it is called "blooming" from what i have been told this is a problem with the high voltage circuits going to your tube
3. it would be more worth it to get a new tv or just deal with the picture loss rather than get it fixed.

i could be wrong on all accounts but that is what i have found through researching the same issue.
if there is a way to fix this i would love to know as well
