Can't get my 2 wire wireless adapter working

The 2 wire site has software that downloads in zip file I did this it say's 34 files saved to your hard drive after i hit unzip. I then go to add hardware its showing the 2 wire there when I go to install it say's software for this device not found, It then ask to go online to look for software I click ok it comes back with could not add device software not found. ( went online using my internal wifi card) I've tried device manager uninstalling and reinstalling it does the same thing I've tried a different driver from 2 wire for different models I get the same result.I run test with the Client wireless card utility all test come back failed. The leds on the wireless adapter doesn't come on is this normal? or should they be litt?

Your about the third person in the last two weeks I have had the joy of getting these to work. Their support site is terrible.

Do you have the drivers in a seperate folder on your hard drive? Make sure the installation wizzard is pointing to it when it installs the drivers.

Make sure you have the right model of network card too. You will have to match it by the pictures.

If it's too big of a headache I would take it back and get something more reliable. Linksys doesn't make you jump through a lot of hoops to get it to work.

Download and install this driver-->click here to download
to open zip files use Winrar .

Save it to your desktop --->Double-click the ".EXE" file. Select "Run." Wait for the wireless adaptor driver to install-->plug in the adapter -->restart your computer.
Plug the wireless adapter in another usb port than the previous time.

Hello,
The DWL-G630 seems to have 3 versions, first version and revision B or C.
Select the matching wireless adapter on this site:
http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=DWL-G630&tab=3
Download the product manual [zip file] and open or unzip to see manual [pdf file].

Etaf, still no drivers detected for

Hello
You may need to do it manually,or when windows detects new hardware select the folder with the drivers then look in the subfolders of that file until you find the driver file.

Another way is to device manager and do a driver update on your adapter, pointing it towards the file on your zip drive.

YOu may need to extract all files from your zip drive to your hard drive or create a folder with the drivers in it.

I lost the disk that set up my belkin N wireless router. i need to download the information onto another computer.

If you have a hard-wired (plug in) internet connection, you can download what's called the drivers onto the computer. That's what comes on the disk. If not, download and save the driver file from the website onto a flash drive or burn it to a disk from the original computer you used the USB adapter on, and run that file from the new one.
