Question about Durabrand DVD-1002 DVD Player
Unit popped and them smoked ....very much a fire hazard...glad I was home....never will buy products from wal-mart again....not safe and very cheap...this is why you pay less...you get less and could lose everything in the long run......wal-mart got my money and now does not want to deal with the problem.....a lawyer needs to be involved to settle what could have been very costly for me and my family.......
One thing you can do is report it to ripoffreport.com and take some pictures of it. The media gets involved on that site from time to time. I know I was talking to them about a product line a few months ago and spoke with a consumer reported in Ohio. If you Google it by make and model number, you might be able to find out who the manufacturer is and see what the complaint area is like.
I see 9 blogs on ripoffreport.com so far.
