When I try to print print, the paper is pulled in about 4 inches, then stops, one loud click, then the paper moves in just slightly and then another loud click and it stops. After it stops, the printer makes a longer and then a shorter quiet sound (kinda like the sound it makes when scanning). Then the "Check Paper" light flashes, and I get the "Paper Jam" pop-up. When I press the "Cancel" button, this keeps repeating with the paper attempting to be pulled in further, and the paper does move slightly, but is still jammed in the middle of the path. The paper is a gets a little crumpled during this process too.
I have tried to clean the internal part of the printer by opening the front and rear access panels, unplugged the printer, etc. but nothing is working.

Verify that the type of paper specified in the Type is text box matches the type of paper being used. A paper jam might result if photo paper is specified in the Printer Properties dialog box, but plain paper is loaded in the printer.
With printer unplugged, open lid and pull paper out by hand. Depending on where paper is jammed, you may have to lift out toner cartridge first. Be careful when pulling out paper, especially if paper is crumpled up. Sometimes it is easier to pull paper from back of printer as if it were continuing to print, and others it is easier to pull reverse from the front.
Loading index cards, post cards, and 4 x 6-inch photo paper
Remove the paper output tray and all paper from the paper supply tray. Slide a stack of cards into the paper supply tray until they stop. Make sure the print side is face down. Adjust the paper-width guide against the cards, and then slide the paper-length guide in until it stops. Make sure the cards fit within the tray (do not overload it), and then reinstall the paper output tray.
