The phone, unfortunately, will not auto-relocate. You can find out what ext # your user moved to by pressing [*] button. The easiest way to move this user (phone, voice mail and flexable buttons) is to switch the wires at the equipment block. It will require a working knowlege of the phone equipment, well marked wire blocks and the proper tools. If not, you can start the process by putting the Login/Logout button on the new location by pressing: [Program], [99], [button to program], [71], [Store].

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can't login to voice mail.

You will need to restart your phone system. Unplug black cord. Count to 5 and then plug it back in.
If that doesn't help because password is unknown you will need to login to adminstrative mailbox and reset password on the mailbox.

Cant get ring tone or phones to work

This question was posted on the troubleshooting page for the VT-9118. This answer is specific to this model; other models have slightly different sequences.
The VT-9118 can use one of 4 different ring tones, and can be turned off.

To reset your ring tone:
  1. Remove the handset from the base.
  2. Press PROG. You should hear a single short beep.
  3. Press #.  You should hear a single short beep.
  4. Press a number 1 through 4. You should hear a long "ring" tone (it might be startling!). You can try other numbers from 1 to 4 to hear them all.
  5. Press MEM to confirm your ring. You will hear a medium beep.
To turn the ringer off, follow the same instructions, but choose number 5.

Hope this helps you. If you need for information, you can download the user manual from http://www.vtechphones.com/docMgt/public/art/313/vt9118.pdf

Phone not ringing

Just recently the Innovage LED touch screen phone stopped ringing. It has worked perfectly as a home office phone since Oct. 2005. Cannot find anything in the tiny manual to correct this problem.

Handset has No link to base

I was having the same problem with the same model phone, and fixed the problem by rebooting the phone – unplugging the AC and phone cord from the base station and plugging both back it, then removing and replacing the handset to regenerate the security code.
