You can set it on it's side and work with it that way ;c) lol

Okay, seriously, check your graphics properties. I'm not sure exactly where it may be on your particular computer, but check all the options in the advanced area. Somewhere on there should be something about rotating your screen. It is either at 90 or 270, just change it back to 0.

It is reaching POST but not boot so I would check your harddrive is ok. Search online for a free harddrive diagnostic such as Seatools and run that.
See if it is recognised in BIOS, when it boots to the IBM screen tap F2 (or whatever button takes you to BIOS setup) and under the boot section see if your HDD is listed.

Check your harddrive is connected properly, if it is clicking or making any strange noises it may be damaged.
Hope this helps,

The lap top computer screen is loose

Those screens tend to lose their tightness as time goes on from all the opening and closing. Regrettably, there isn't much to be done with them except replacement of the part. You can jury rig it but that's about it. I,too, had a zv5000 and experienced the same thing.

I beleive that you may need a splitter, I think it may be called a convergance splitter to work with the program. Check with the manufacturer support for the program. They should be able to tell you if a splitter is needed.
