My xd picture card is

My xd picture card is not working properly. I put it in my fuji card reader to down load to my computer, it stopped mid way, I took card out to start over. Now it wont recognize it in the card reader and the message "CARD NOT INITIALIZED" is on display when I put it back in my camera.

Is there any way to retreive these pictures?

- My SD memory card is unreadable in my digital camera, the printer and the computer. The message on the camera states that I must format the card. In the printer, the message states card access error. Is there a way to retrieve the pictures from the memory card?- Guest
