thanks Bubbab for answering my problem...ahm anyway may i know what is CCD?another thing is when i take pictures in my classroom the pictures has lines and blurry...but when i recently watched a movie...i tried taking pictures inside the movie house...the pictures are good...no more lines and it is very clear this time..so i am very confused now..i dont know what is the real problem...the LCD is working properly...your help will be a great help...i really want to take pictureswith my students....and activities is fast approaching...hay.........:-(

A CCD is the Charged Coupling Device. It is the IC chip that scans image from the lens into binary data so that it can be stored onto your memory card. Sometimes they can have different results in light because they are photo senstive and can burn out. That is why it's very important never to shoot pictures in direct sunlight with these unless you have a filter becuase the direct sunlight can burn out the CCD unit.
