I cant conecct my ps3 with internet. when i clikck sign in he says that i need check my network settings.i check them 100 times and nothing. can someone help me please???

Doing a factory reset will clear your network settings and sign you out of your account. If you are connected to the internet using wi-fi make sure to get that setup again before trying to sign back into play-station network.

Disconnect from your internet source, then reconnect. If it doesn't resolve itself, Sony is doing something to the PlayStation Network in your area and it will be down until they finish their changes.

PSN is down due to the second hack to Sony PSN.

This means you've been signed out of the playstation network. A problem with your broadband, not your PS3. Check the connection of the ethernet cable from your router to the ps3. Then switch off at the mains both your ps3 and your router. Leave for 30 seconds then turn both back on. Wait till the blue lights on your router are all steady blue not flashing red or orange. Then turn on your PS3, go to network settings, then internet connection test. This will check your internet connection, and whether or not you're signed in to PSN, and also your internet download/upload speed.

At times the server will be down for maintenance and/or updates. You will have to be patient and wait a while before attempting to sign back in.

Also, check your internet settings.

Go to "Settings" then scroll all the way down to "Network Settings"
Make sure that the "internet connection" (the second menu) is "Enabled"
Go to "Internet Connection Settings" and make sure all checkpoints are cleared (ip address, connection to pSN, etc)

Check the Network settings in the PS3. It should be set to "Automatically detect settings".

its not sony fault ,i just found out today it ur service if u have a DLS ur going to keep being signed out till it finaly sign u out for good, just call ur service and change ur internet service or upgrade it ,ok dont wrry lol

if you are on your own connection, the check your connection settings, or the settings on your router. try connecting directly to your modem. it's nothing wrong with your ps3, just everything to do with your own network equipment.

You can only sign into your Playstation account if you are using your own user profile on the far left of the XMB.

Do a Network test to see if you can even connect to PSN. Go to Settings, Network Settings, and do and Internet Connection Test.

if your test doesn't show your NAT type as either 1 or 2 then your router is being to restrictive. Try changing some of the settings to allow the PS3 full access to the internet.
