Problem for Maxtor Hard Drive

current backup hd has jumper on top/bottom of #1 pinm abd jumper from top of #2 to top of #3, had been working as backup to c: drive, I want to make it as master.

Where can I find a pictiure of settings, there are no markings on the front or back of case? bb

- This particular Maxtor has no writing on top or no explanation for settings, do you know where I can get a picture of the back side, showng settings for master & slave, bb

Hi

If you look on the top of the hard drive you will see a diagram of the positions you need, master setting is nearest the IDE connector.
