Question about Acer Aspire 3100-1405 Notebook
Hi there I have just bought a new hard drive wich is double the size off the origanal hardware and cant seem to boot from my Xp cd why can this be Im really lost right now dont know how to get past this problem ..if any1 has a few tips feel free to post ...Thanx
First tell me where you are going to install this hard disk whether to be primary or secondary disk and what is your pc configuration.
Old bios does not support large volume hard disk so you have to make it partitioned with the help of a new pc and then try to install the xp or use some third party utility to format and partition the hard disk (use or download part.exe) then make a bootable cd or floppy with Windows98 or XP then run this utility

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
