The pass code should be 0000 but if you get it synced. It will not stay connected. Its not your htc phone. I went to HTC's website to get the bluetooth update, installed it, and im still having the same problems. Its the piece of s#*% em227 bluetooth that is the problem. Your best solution is to go and buy a new bluetooth cause yours, just like mines, wont work. Have A Nice Day
Turn ON the bluetooth headset (keep the button pressed for few seconds) and bluetooth connection of your Nokia phone. Search for the device from your phone, when found enter the pass key "0000" (its default) when prompted, set this device as authorized to pair it.
hold down hook button until blue indicator goes solid blue
(mic FOLDED IN) flip out mic quickly and go to settins on phone and select bluetooth or connections and select find/add bluetooth device and select bond or pair enter passcode 0000.
select done and blue light should now be blinking indicating it was connected
