Question about Canon PIXMA MP600 all-In-One InkJet Printer
It states there is no paper when there is paper present. I have attempted to clean the rollers but the printer will not pick up the paper. It looks as if the printer is trying to get the paper in the machine, it moves a little bit, but will not feed. Please help!
OK. You can reply more easily by using the comment box below.
Since you live in an arid area you will want to rehydrate the rollers by using a smallish paintbrush say about 1/2 to 3/4 inch paintbrush and with the paper tray empty wet the paintbrush and paint the rollers, then press paper load/eject and then paper load/eject whichever gets the rollers to move. Do this over and over again until the rollers are well soaked. This will rehydrate them.
In a dry climate, rubber rollers, will shrink from the dry air and this lose in circumfrance in just enough eventually, to prevent tehm from picking up paper. So keep this in mind for future reference.
Once you have had the rollers really wet, give them some time to soak and then run blank paper through them until the roller run clean over your paper, they will have picked up black ink dust and will leave black marks on the next paper you use.
