Hi my K810I froze up. The menu is unusable as in I cannot see my menu icons. All I can see is the theme picture. There is nothing to click on! I have switched it off, took the battery out and put back in! I have done this on numerous attempts and still I cannot see my menu.
Ok, today i got unlimited internet and i downloaded google maps. After i launched it, it worked and all but after a while it randomly froze and my phone shut off.
The next time i turned it back on, it worked but it shut off again randomly when i tried to use google maps. After that, it does turn on but it just shows my theme pic and the soft key text is near the top of the screen.
I have tried to take out the SIM/Battery/Memory stick numerous times with no luck.

Using this trick you can remove sometimes irritating and unwanted words from predictive text. Open xplore or a similar file manager, go to c:\predic\ directory and delete the .dat file or edit it by transfering it to pc, opening it with notepad and editing.

Press options and select New server profile, and name the server 'name', server id, host adress and user name 'Themes'. Choose your password and leave everything as it is. exit (if it says profile not saved because you didin't do some configurations, try changing connection type to bluetooth) and press Options and start configurations without connection. then go to Menu-> Applcations and you'll see the themes icon! REMOVING THEMES Removing themes is a common problem in s60v3 phones. Here's how its done Do CAPS OFF Open Xplore or any other file manager. Go to C or E/private/10207114/import. Every folder here contains 3 or 4 theme files(*.ini, *.mbm, *.mif, *.skn). If the folders don't denote the name of the theme, open the *.skn file in hex viewer and you will see the name of the theme. To remove the theme just delete the 4 files of the theme(and not the folder itself) which you want to delete. DONE You can do the same via mass storage connecting the phone or mmc to computer and don't forget to enable view hidden files.
yuppe, u can't just delete themes unless you do hard format, which i don't suggest on this case, the best way is, just find another default nokia themes, and use it!
u can download directly from ur phone through GPRS or find some websites that provide theme for ur phone. or just find where the first time u got this 'island' theme? find it again, and search for nokia default theme which u mightstill have or probably u somehow deleted it..
Hi Guys, base on how you describe your files and base on what i know about sony ericsson, we can't merely change the menu icons, we need 3rd party software to access the phone and could be risky though if you don't know how to operate it.
If i understand you correctly, those themes your having with .xml file and icon images are for flash menu icons. Unlike Nokia high end phones, where you can just install the themes directly unto your phone via usb cable and the menu icons will also change according to the theme you installed.
But if you want to play around your phone's menu icons, you can google it up " Changing W880i menu icons ", but i won't recommend it. :)
