My Aculaser C1100 printer is  giving me a message to "replace C Toner Cartridge", but I don't know which one is the C cartridge or how to get it out of the printer. I can't find a handbook or even an instruction sheet for the machine,  so I'm stumped!

Yes this one is a pain.
On the LCD display choose the 'Reset Menu'
Then within that menu keep going through the (many) options till you get to
'Change Toner M' (if it is Magenta)
or 'Change Toner C' (if it is Cyan)
etcetera.

Once you select the appropriate 'Change Toner' it will rotate to offer the correct toner. Open up the lid at the front (the word Epson is on it). Reach inside and change the position of the coloured part of the toner cartridge on the right to the Unlock symbol and then ease the cartridge out. It comes out at a slight angle as the part you move to unlock it comes out slightly in front of the other side.

Then put the new toner cartridge in and turn the coloured part to the locked symbol and close up.

The same process will allow you to move any of the toners in and out.

Cheers

I have a service req E527 error on my Epson printer. how to fix?

To fix the E527 error, close the front panel (cover A) and open the top cover (cover B). With the photoconductor unit removed, the toner carousel will rotate. It only rotates if cover A is closed all the way. You can easily rotate the carousel to a position where you can remove/reinstall the stuck toner cartrdige. report_dis_text_13954 = 'We\'re sorry but you must be signed in to report inappropriate material. How to install toner chip on epson c1100

The toner chip is situated on the end of the toner cartidge - it's a circle, about 1.5cm in diameter.
They may have given you a new housing, in case you damage the one currently on your toner, when you try to remove it.

Toners c1100 epson

Easiest way is to open the front door, poke a screw driver into the interlock on the left side and this will free the carriage to rotate.

You can also do this via the printer driver, and the printer control panel. It's all listed in the User Manual.

Open the front door, poke a screwdriver into the interlock on the left side. Rotate the carriage as you wish.
