WARRANTY 26" LCD HDTV W/BUILT-IN DVD PLAYER. Only 2 months old. Will not change channels by remote or manually. Shouldn't this be under some type of warranty? If not, who do I contact about parts?

as you still have the warranty you just dont have to worry about it ...
you must contact the dealer with whom you have purchased & you can collect the procedure to make use of the warranty with him or you can contact the customer care number of the company & you can collect the details about it....
the customer care number will be mentioned on the warranty card which will be given by the dealer during the time of the purchase...

Try explaining the problem to the manufacturer. They will help. They may change the software if needed. After the guarantee it will become a payable service.

I have a rca dvd recorder+vcr combo drc8320n i want to set up watching/changing cabletv channels on the dvd remote. i have tried buying universal remotes cheap& expensive but they no longer work on my

With cable input connected to "RF in"on rear of unit make sure vidoe input is set to "Tuner". This will show up on the TV screen. Change channels numerically or using up/down arrow keys on DVR remote. Note there is a slight pause between changing channels. You probably will have to "autoscan" for channel setup/etc. If you say your TV set is old; it probabaly is equiped with coax
connection only/set TV channel to "3" or "4". when yot opt to play vcr/dvd it will override your
cable channel selected. Hope this helps!

No power to set - yellow light blinks

If your set is 6 months old, I would suggest to have it repair under manufacturers warranty. All the electronics devices have 1 year warranty.
The failure you have with your LCD is the power supply not working properly.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Remote not working

Check to see if there is a switch somewhere on the remote that allows you to select between the TV and the DVD player. If not, it is possible that the remote or the DVD player's IR decoding is not working properly.

If you cannot resolve this, call the tech support for the TV. If the set is under warranty, it is best to persue this right away.

Mintek 26 inch LCD HDTV with built-in-DVD remote not working

The reason you can't pull-up the Mintek website is because the company is out of business. I have one that is frozen on one channel and none of the buttons or remote will work. I took it to a repair shop and the said one of the circuit boards is bad but since the company is out of business they can't get the needed part. The only way to get the part is to find a set which can be cannabalized for the needed parts.
