Built in laptop webcam or desktop USB webcam?
you also need to run something such as Skype for example or another application that can make use of the webcam in order to see it working.

My webcam isn't working...it always worked on my laptop. and then i used it on a desktop and plugged it back into my laptop and it's not recognizing it.

Uninstall the program again (installer). Try to reinstall the program with the webcam on it to be detected. When you use the cam on the Desktop, try to properly remove the device by clicking the task bar and exit. Wait for pop up instruction to remove the cam.
Try this... thanks

Doesnt work

Hi,
Here's the GE Easycam driver software:
http://www.jascoproducts.com/support/download-files/98063.zip

Download it to your desktop. Unzip it to a folder. Plug the webcam in.
The operating will detect it but not be able to install drivers for it.
Now go to Control Panel > System > Device Manager.
There will be an 'Unknown Device' with a yellow exclamation mark. This device is the webcam. Double click on it, and click the Driver tab. Now click Install Driver, and then the 'Browse Computer for Driver' type option, and navigate to the folder you unzipped it to, select it, install and reboot.
Done!

Here is the user manual too:

Hope this helps

Normal 0 You need to go to the manufactures site and download the VISTA driver for the camera. Then follow the info below to install the program.

Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
