How to Get a Learners Licence

Learner's licence appointment (Gauteng)

• Obtain a preliminary booking (date/time/reference number) via the Gauteng Provincial Call Centre at 08604288364.
• Visit the specific Driving Licence Testing Centre (where the test will be conducted) within the given time frame to finalise the booking.

• The applicant will complete an application form, pass an eye test, take fingerprints and pay at the cashier.
• A receipt will be issued.
• The applicant will receive a notice in the post for collection purposes - the waiting period is about four weeks
• Should applicants require temporary driving licences with card application, they will need the appropriate fees as well as one additional photo. The temporary licence will be issued immediately.
• Should applicants renew their driving licence card on or before the date of the expiry, the existing licence card shall remain valid for the next three months provided they are in possession of their old/current cards and a receipt of their new applications

That was a dodgy job,
the licence for windows XP installed by this guy is not genuine and can get you in troubles with Windows updates.
If you have a valid Windows XP licence (check the sticker at the base of your laptop), you should reinstall XP home using the licence number on the sticker.
If you do not have a licence, well I cannot talk here...

Regarding the sound, that is not a big problem, you just need to download and reinstall the drivers for your laptop.

Post a new question on Fixya, giving details on your laptop make and model, you will get the link to download for drivers.

If it is a newer one you may have onboard if not and you have a licence sticker still ring acer and give them the licence number they will send you a recovery disc/s not sure if they charge for it or not, or if you have a licence sticker you can just go buy xp or whatever you have and use that you should get a new licence for the program to. Or you could get a freind to burn a copy of their recovery disc/s if same as your laptop only thing is you could not use it online.(as is concidered a pirated copy for obvious reasons) Best bet would be to buy new copy of program and do a system restore
