Kate what did you plug the cables into I suspect it was a grey cable with a red , white and yellow plugs. If I am correct this cable should be plugged into the AV1 or AV2 input port of your television. Try changing the input source to AV1 or AV2 Check it is plugged to AV1 on the Television and not into Conponent input !

I hooked up my wii on av1 with a component cable with audio on audio 1 and i have sound but no picture.

If I am reading this right, you are only hooking up one cable for audio. There is another cable needed for video. This jack is normally color coded yellow and labeled video out/in. You can use your audio cable to try this and then you will picture but no audio.

Can get tv to change to av1

The Input button on the original remote is needed to switch to the AV1 or AV2 connections. Unfortunately, I do not believe that the Sanyo DS27930 has an equivalent Input button on the TV. A replacement remote is available here: . Other universal remotes may be able to transmit the Input signal. You will need a remote that was programmed over 6 months after the TV was released with an Input or Source button. Then try all Sanyo codes until you find one that controls all of the features.

I hope this helps.

I don't know what channel to go to to be able to play my dvd player

where did you hooked up the connector wire coming from the dvd player, in the component input or at the RF jack of the tuner of the tv?. if you plug at the component input of the tv you will select AV1 or AV2 etc. in the settings. but if you hooked up into the RF jack you can select channel 3 in the tv but at this time you need to have manual tuned in the tv to get the signal coming from the dvd player or xbox.

Srt 2219b im try to setup to watch dvd and vcr. is there a trick.

If you are connecting your DVD and VCR to the TV using Scart leads, simply go into TV input option on your tv remote and switch to AV1 or AV2. i.e AV1 for VCR or AV2 for DVD player.

Im trying to hook up my new lcd tv using a cable box and a dvd player but cant find any diagrams. As of now I can get a picture but the sound is low and can only be turned up by the cable remote. Any help...

it should not be a big deal red and white is sound yellow is video, if you have a converter box and are not getting a signal I would suggest you try moving your antene to get picture. Try hooking the DVD plaer into the TV to AUX 1 or AV1 or AV 2 Or AV3 and make sure the TV is on the right channel on to see Picture and correct level of sound, are you running anything threw a coverter box? Need to know the TV brand to do a diagram. The output from the DVD player shoud go into AV1 and the wire colors should be the same DVD output to AV1 input or AV2 in?

How do i get my sansa e250 to conncet to my tv

Plug a 1-to-2 audio jack from the headphone jack of the Sansa to two audio inputs (red and white) of the TV. Change your TV's source channel to the appropriate input (AV1, AV2, Video 1, Video 2, etc). Find the song on your Sansa and press play. you may have to adjust the volume on the Sansa AND on your TV.

I just purchased a phillips dvdr3576h and hooked it up to a new vizio. I cant make this thing work.

Try the below first, but you may require additional assistance after this:

First, test to make sure the Philips remote is working by trying to play a dvd. If the remote control is working, then either A) your TV is set to the wrong channel, or B) you have not selected the correct source on the Philips remote.

Look at how the cables run from the back of the Philips to the TV. In the back of your TV, the slot that the cables are plugged in to is usually labelled "AV1, "AV2, "Video 1", "Input 1" or something like that. Change the television to the appropriate input/source channel.

Press the Source button on the Philips remote and make sure it says E1 or whatever the appropriate source is.

Then try changing channels using the Philips remote.

This does not exhaust every possibility, but you must check the above first to see if anything else might be wrong. If the above does not work, then I would double-check to make sure the cable/satellite box is connected to the Philips correctly.
