Yesterday the Haier air conditioner (model HWR06XC7) worked great. This morning it will not turn on at all. Electrical outlet is fine, cord seems fine. Unit will not turn on either with remote or by pressing button on unit.

Most newer air conditioners have a ground fault plug. Press the button on the side of the plug.

I have an air conditioner portable Model: CPN10XC9, and have a problem, when I plug it into the wall outlet will not turn on and the screen lights E1. I clean the filter as the manual says and yet the E1...

I dont know what the E1 stands for but make sure that if its on an extension cord that its rated for appliance use and you might try another outlet. Sometimes the load from an a/c is great enough that the receptacle overheats and causes the problem.

Need battery type for ac remote model HWR06XC7-T

The remote control uses a CR2005 wafer battery. When you install it, be sure the Plus (+) side is up facing you.

Hope this helped you & thanks for choosing FixYa.

E1 error code

E1-Automatic filter clean reminder.

Turn the air conditioner OFF and unplug it. NOTE: The air conditioner must be unplugged for the automatic filter clean timer to reset.

Clean the filter. See the Care and Cleaning section in your use&care manual. After cleaning, replace the filter and plug the air conditioner back in.

Haier AC Won't start

I had the same problem with a different model. I tested the cord, it worked, but still would not turn on. Well, after two days my friend and I decided we would try to replace the battery in the remote---it worked! Try your remote battery.

We have a Haier HWfo5xc7-2 air conditioner. Today, when I went to turn it on, there's no power. The outlet works fine. What could be wrong? It worked fine yesterday. I pressed the reset button? Does that...

You can download your product manual by going to this web-site and typing in your model number:
I checked the troubleshooting guide in the manual but it only lists the obvious such as is the unit properly plugged in, is the power button in the "on" position and etc. Are you sure there is power to the outlet? Try the outlet by plugging in a lamp or small appliance to check there is power to it. Let us know how it goes and maybe we can figure out something.
