1998 subaru forester temperature guage fluctuates

first make sure the fan is comming on when it gets warm. i would replace the thermostate any way whats 12.00 now vs 2,800 to replace the engen latter. also i would change out the sending unit that goes to the cluster. also disconect the neg. side battery and turn the fan by hand it should spin very easy i belive this vehicle has 2 fans. if they turn frely reconet thr battery start the vehicle turn on ac if both fans do not come on you may have a bad fan relay good luck.

This sounds like a split system, the condensing unit outside and the evaporator coil and fan inside. You must be referring to the indoor fan, since the compressor and outdoor fan are controlled by the same contacter. The indoor fan relay contacts sounds to be welded shut, and needs to be replaced.

2003 ford escape V6 idles 1000rpm, then drops over 5 seconds and then cycles back to 1000rpm...i recently had alternator replaced. I have regular oil changes. New gas filter. It sounds like something...

A few things that could cause the problem are:1 Airflow meter that is if it is a fuel injected motor. 2 On carburettor models the idle solenoid will do that if it is faulty: 3 Airconditioning compressor or pump will click in and out with a sound causing the revs of the engine to alternate as it uses more or less energy accordingly. Also if the bearings in the compressor are worn in it's early stages of wear could make a similar sound to that of a fan: 4 The electric fan coming on too often because the engine is running very hot, could also cause the clicking sound as the thermostat clicks on and off. I suggest you check the water level in the bottle and in the radiator just to make sure that it's not getting too hot and if the levels are low then you have a problem that must be attended to immediately.

IBM S51 (8210-CTO) gives high revs on the fan

This model has a variable speed fan, if gets faster as the temp goes up in the case.

If it is staying on high RPM all the time you may have a temp issue.

I would clear out all dust from inside that case, make sure to clear out the processor heat sync and see if that lets the fans drop back down to normal RPM.

"G" terminal is for the fan, typically using a green wire. "C" terminal is the common, basically a ground, typically using a blue wire. Also, leave in the jumper between "RH" and "RC".

Oven does not "burn" steadily when set below 300 degrees.

Sounds like you have a bad oven ignitor and oven burner tube. install a Amperage meter on one of the oven ignitor wire, It should draw above 3 AMPS, if it is below then you have a bad oven ignitor, or just change the oven ignitor to see if it makes any difference. Have fun.
