Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I have an HP PSC..1600 series. I have a Lexar memory card from our digital camera. I'm attempting to download. I get the thumbnail prints. In MY PICTURES, they are all named HPIM010 and so on. When I attempt to open them, I get a message "Kodakpro.exe has generated errors & will be closed by Windows. Error log is being created." The Lexar card is new....previous cards have worked with no problem. I'd appreciate your help. Thanks. Betty B.

Check the size of the memory card, because 1600 supports only upto 1GB memory card and even check the type of the memory card.

My sony cyber shot camera suddenly is saying that my Lexar 4GB CompactFlash Premium Series 80x needs to be formatted. What about my pictures?

You might have locked memory card. If not first try to connect memory card to PC with memory card reader and try to copy your stuff... then after you take all stuff try to format it.

I just inserted a new 8GB memory card but it tells me ''OUT OF MEMORY'' I tried to format it but still gives me the same message. Why is that and what can I do about it please?

The memory card you are trying to use in the camera is not supported. This camera is an older technology that can not recognize the large 8 GB memory capacity of the card. In fact, the largest approved card your camera will recognize is 1 GB.

The list of approved memory cards was obtained from the Nikon Site directly, and pasted below for your convenience.

Nikon has tested the following cards and approved their use in the Coolpix 5700:

CompactFlash memory cards:
SanDisk SDCFB series 16 MB, 32 MB, 48 MB, 64 MB, 96 MB, and 128 MB
Lexar Media 4× USB series 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 48 MB, 64 MB, and 80 MB
Lexar Media 8× USB series 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 48 MB, 64 MB, and 80 MB
Lexar Media 10× USB series 128 MB and 160 MB
Lexar Media 40x USB WA series 256 MB*
Microtech International Digital Flash Film 1GB*
Delkin eFilm 650MB Pro*
Ritz Big Print 8x 256MB* (Edge Code 0E1B)

Microdrive cards:
DSCM-10512 512 MB
DSCM-11000 1 GB

Need to know what memory card to use with HP PSC 950

The HP PSC 950 printer is designed to support file formats according to the Exchangeable Image File EXIF 2.1 standard, and to be compatible with CompactFlash cards, SmartMedia, and CompactFlash Type I and II. The HP PSC950 printer allows instant printing from a wide range of digital cameras without a PC. The HP Photosmart C20, C30, C200, C500, 210, 215, 315, 618, and 912 digital cameras are compatible with the printer

Basically, If the type of card you are using isn't listed here, buy a universal card reader and connect it.

My memory card won't work in my camerakeeps telling me to format the Lexar 2GB card every time I insert it

Use the camera to format the SD card not your computer. There should be a menu option to format it.

Cannot delete images in the camera.

Check the card and see that the little slide switch on the side is moved to the unlock or clear position. You try to delete images off another card to see if it is the camera that is defective. Is it still under warranty?

Faulty SD card

First try formatting the memory card in your PC and then try again. If that fails, purchase a new memory card of a different brand / manufacturer.
