I am trying to set the correct (standard setting on the menu button) for best possible picture, i.e., Color, Brightness, Tint, Sharpness. What is the standard setting when adjusting for best picture?

I connect my sanyo 42 inch LCD tv via s-video, no signal on TV

Be sure you changed the source on the tv (i'm guessing you did this), be sure you switch the out-put on your computer to s-video. You can do this in the properties box. If you are running the nvidia video utility, you can set up hot keys to do this. I set up ALT, Z, 3 as my hot key combination. All I do is hook up to my tv, press the three buttons above, at the same time, and the video moves from my pc monitor to the tv.

About TV-out..

It all depends on if you plan to use a HD TV or standard CRT TV.
HDTV's have either component connectors whuch are Red, Blue And Green or via HDMI
Standard TV's have a composite video or svhs connector, which is rather like a ps2 connector

How to properly install Asus N6200 AGP video card

Set refresh to 60hz
Set color to highest position.
If this is an LCD, set it to the highest resolution
If this is a 15" or 17" CRT, set resolution to 1024x768.
If this is a 19" CRT, set resolution to 1280x1024.

Also, do not use the drivers on the CD. Go too nvidia.com and download the latest there.

Also, if you can get into the BIOS, try to disable the on board graphics if you see an option for it.
