Unplug it and wait a minute, then plug back in. This is my first line of defense, then all I know, is I won't buy another LG for my home. No one wants to work on them or they don't know how. I own 4 LGs in my home, 2 have had issues....grrrr.

LG Tromm DLE 7177 WM not drying clothes. vent is clear and unobstructed, the heating element upper right is hot to the touch, and it seems there is a reasonable amount of air venting to the outside.

There is a upper limit and lower limit thermostat I believe, YouTube repair clinic channel has all the test info and parts.

My tromm dle 7177 is blowing cold air and the check filter light stays on

Also check the vent. It is trying to tell you there is no air flow.

LG dryer DLE 3733S control panel inop but light on in drum. 3 years old intermittent problem, is this electronics panel going bad? if so, do we replace PCB Main or PCB Assembly? Thanks!

Check the power to the display panel after you have it removed. If there is no power check the lines to the control, If the power is present with no action on the panel then you will have to replace the board. It may be as simple as cleaning the board off, since it has been a intermittent problem in the past. hopes this helps Tim

Severe noise - drum is jammed and won't turn - LG DLE-5977 dryer

A piece of clothing is probably caught in the blower wheel.
Remove lint filter.
Use flashlight to look into filter housing to the lower left.
You may be able to retrive the item if you can see it.
Try rotating the drum in both directions while looking.

I have a DLE 7177WM LG electric dryer is sound

Your problem sounds like drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication.
If you have a front loading machine, Unplug the dryer, remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt, remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers.
Check your rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them replace them.
If they don't then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in. This should solve you noise problem.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

LG DLE 9577

check to make sure that the power legs are correctly installed.  Use an volt meter and measure voltage across neutral and hot.  Hot leads should be on the left and right side and neutral is in the middle.  Hot to neutral should be 120v.  Hot to hot should read 240v.
